Welcome to Raso's
Laboratory, my little experiment on the web. I hope to make this an
interesting place to visit. I hope you will stay for awhile.
Well hello
there and welcome to my little experiment on the world wide web. I hope to
create something that is exciting enough to get you to stay and visit, maybe
drop a line and share your thoughts. This is a continuous experiment for me. As
the saying goes, "live and learn", hopefully I will learn something
out of this madness that I embark upon.
Here you will find randomness, the things that I enjoy, games I play, things
for sale and links to enjoy, so please feel free to stop for a moment rest a
spell and check out the site.
Link of the Week
The ever popular Link of the Week: I thought it would be nice to have a
spot to feature a particular article, blog, site, or web comic, that
was funny or that really caught my eye and I thought it would,
possibly, interest others. I hope you enjoy the links that show up here. Please
remember not everything is going to be rated E for everyone. I try to
keep my selections pretty clean but, some of it may be rated for Teens
or Mature due to violence or other things.
This weeks Link of the Week is for a very interesting web serial called Tamao. It tells the story of a young career woman who thinks she is happy with her life, with the exception of her mother trying to get her married to her boyfriend and have her start giving her grandchildren. Until she encounters the shrine of Tamao and it forces her to contemplate her life, religion and all that is going on around her. The author David Chart lives in Japan and you can tell his familiarity with how things should look and feel. take a chance a read it, once you get started it is quite hard to stop.
I found this video while perusing You Tube and it made smile. It is a little long at 9minutes 17seconds but really worth watching. It is a story of adventure and daring with a surprising ending.
If you know of a really good anime, web comic or book, drop me a line, I would love to hear your suggestions.
