Where you never know what we are mixing up
Stuff about Me

Well a little about myself.  I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland. That greatly influenced my love of seafood.  After high school (  Northern Sr. High, which no longer exists :( ), I joined the Air Force, and was stationed at RAF Lakenheath, England.  While stationed in England, I met my husband Howard. He was stationed at RAF Bentwaters, and lived in a lovely little town called Ipswich. I came back stateside to Tinker AFB, Ok.  Due to his AFSC he was sent to Holloman AFB, NM.  After my time was up I left the service and moved to NM.  We were stationed back overseas, to Torrejon AFB, Spain and ZweibruckenAB, Germany. Europe is absolutely fantastic and I would love to go back if I ever have the opportunity.   From there we got stationed to Carswell AFB, Texas and decided to settle here. The thing I miss most living in Texas is the lack of four seasons, I would love to have a nice snowy winter, not the dreadful ice storms that they are so fond of here.  We have two adult children, and I currently work at a pharmaceutical software company as a computer operator.  I consider myself very fortunate that I work with a great group of people. It is fantastic in that it doesn't actually feel like work, everyone is nice and they have the greatest sense of humor. I wish I could write a book or record some of the things that happen at work. My family is owned by three cats, one belonging to me and two to my daughter. One girl Shadeauxhawke and two boys (brothers) Gourry and Dynast ( yes they are named for the Slayers characters and they very much fit the names they have).

As far as anime goes I have quite a collection. I adore all things Miyazaki and I am currently working on getting all of his works. I tend to like action and humorous series more than romance stories. There are some exceptions I enjoyed the original DBZ but not most of the later ones. I also enjoy AMV's and would someday love to learn how to make them. I love reading Science Fiction/Fantasy books, I am a web comic junkie and I used to sew. That is something I would love  to start doing again since my daughter wants to do more costumes at conventions. So far the only one I have made for her is Nadia but it came out quite well. I think the next one I will work on will be Howl for her fiance, and I would like to do a Sophie for her. Although she has an Anthy costume that I need to alter so she can wear that. So much to do in my copious free time. If you know of a really good anime, web comic or book, drop me a line, I would love to hear your suggestions.

I had mentioned my  two adult children , now to tell you a bit more about them. My son goes by the  moniker of Tony and he is the oldest, my daughter goes by Kaje or Alex.  Tony does technical support and Kaje has gotten her AA as well as her Certificate in Fashion Merchandising.   Both of them are artistically inclined.  My daughter posts her artwork on Deviant art under Evil Mind2. and she is also a very good amateur photographer. The photos she takes at the Botanical Gardens are beautiful.  She and her Silverfox are planning to be married in April.
Usually after breaking out the tazer I can get art from her to put into art shows at the conventions we go to.  Her brother is worse, I usually need a cattle prod to get any art from him. He is the real gamer of the family, I usually look to him for game suggestions.  Sometimes we are able to get together on IRO to gain levels and ingredients for his Alchemist Kool Aid Man.  Anita, Tony's better half (smile) is a good writer but she hardly ever shares her works.   She loves to read and currently works at a bookstore. Her goal is to someday have her own restaurant.
Kaje's fiance Silverfox works at DFW as a valet.  He wants to get into producing/making/writing movies, as well as get his pilots license.  He is very much into Nero and is always trying to get my daughter to go.  So far she has resisted the siren call of LARPing.
I also have my wayward adopted children, one of whom took a look at the site and immediately turned into drama queen extraordinaire because he was not mentioned. Well Ernesto Perez here is your mention.  He is a system administrator in Virginia and recently married to a saint of a woman named Dotty who puts up with his massive amounts of insanity.  He is also a drummer in a band named Black Box Warning.  He is The Magnificent Chupacabra if you so desire to look him up.

I have several hobbies, I enjoy collecting kimonos and obis, I also enjoy anime and video games, some J-pop and anime music. I also enjoy building computers and tinkering with them. I am always tinkering with them. I am always trying to find ways to make the systems in the house better. As far as games go the one that sucks up most of my time is Ragnarok online, it is a 2d MMORPG. Not nearly as fancy as Guild Wars or WoW but just as addicting. I also occasionally get on Guild Wars but can never seem to catch other members of my guild on. My poor necromancer is very neglected right now. I have recently started playing City of Hero's, I have a science/tanker named Itami and a mutant/scrapper named Shadeaux Vermillion on the virtue server, look for me.I enjoy RPG's and puzzle games. I absolutely suck at shooters and driving games.

I mentioned some of the games I play mostly on-line, but I also enjoy console games and I have picked up a DS lite that I take everywhere I go, I love that thing. My son on the other hand loves his PSP and is always playing Monster Hunter. Monster Hunter came out for the Playstation 2 originally and was very under appreciated, if you can find a copy get it, it is loads of fun and hours of entertainment, you can also play online as well. They also have it for the PSP but it seems we don't get all of them here because they do not sell like they do in Japan.
We have a WII and a PS3 . What the PS3 does for movies and games is fantastic. The first time I put Odin's Sphere into the PS3 on the HDTV it just blows you away with the artistry.  I am hooked on Ninja Town, Puzzle Quest, Brain Age and Sudoku for the DS, there are so many interesting portable games out there.
